The Message

Pastor Bruce shares his testimony, which involves his Jonah call to ministry, along with a time of deepest struggle, when he almost left the ministry. If you are struggling with wanting to give up, you will hopefully be encouraged to keep moving on.

We would love to hear from you! Prayer request? New Address? Want to chat with the Pastor? You can complete a Connection Card online.

Coming in Three Weeks:
We will begin a new series called "People of Hope". This will be a look at some inspiring people of the Old Testament, who the book of Hebrews identifies as those who lived with an "assurance of things hoped for."

Youth Group:
High School meets Sunday evenings at 6 to 8 pm. Middle School meets Friday evenings at 6 to 7:30 pm. Both groups meet at the church. Middle and High School youth have their own Sunday school meetings during the 10 am service, and are dismissed to class after corporate singing. On the first Sunday of each month the youth do not have Sunday School to celebrate communion in church.

All voting members are invited to our Quarterly Business meeting following the service next Sunday, Oct 30th. We will be voting in some new members, as well as forming a Nominating Team, which will help us select Elders and Deacons for 2017. Please turn in any agenda items to Bob Hudson.

Harvest Picnic:
Join us for an outdoor time of fellowship and food. We will be holding an all church picnic following the service on November 6. It will include volley ball, horseshoes, some whacky games or just simply sitting around and talking story. Please bring a main dish or side dish by last name. Main dish A-K, salad or side dish L-Z. Dessert will be provided.

Next Saturday PM:
We will be continuing the "Called To Be" series through the Beatitudes. Alex Dong will be highlighting the “Peacemakers”.
